Bazzanti, Florence and mounted on the original purpose made carved serpentine pedestal of acanthus and spiral form on an octagonal platform, the alabaster section 23ins x 24ins approximately, the serpentine base 44ins x 27ins approximately (slight damage principally to Psyche's right toe and Cupid's left wing tip)
