Sir Thomas Wyatt, the Younger, 1521? to 1554, leader of Wyatt's Rebellion, a signed document on vellum being an indenture for the sale of the Manor of Boughton, Monchelsea in Kent to Robert Rudston, 12ins x 14ins, with pendant armorial seal endorsement dated 23rd April, 1551. Note: Sir Thomas Wyatt, the Younger joined the Edward Courtenay, Earl of Devonshire in an insurrection to prevent the marriage of Queen Mary to Philip of Spain, Wyatt undertaking to raise Kent, on his arrival in London he was deserted by his followers and executed for high treason
