Late 19th / Early 20th Century Naval officers dress sword, having single fullered etched blade with gilt brass basket and shagreen wire twist grip handle and brass and leather scabbard, the blade measuring 31.45ins
Some minor damages to wire around handle, some minor rust marks to blade. Some wire on grip has come loose. Losses to gilding on grip and most of gilt on scabbard has worn away. Blade is in good condition. No information on history
